I can't believe that Thanksgiving is almost here! I have been so ready for a break, these past few weeks have been pretty hectic and I have been losing my mind! But there is a funny joke that i read, i found it on lifeisajoke.com, that is one of my favorite websites ever. Jokes kind of lighten my mood and help me to relieve my stress. Here is the joke:
THREE BLONDES, THREE WISHES
There was three blondes stranded on a island far, far away. They saw a magic bottle floating on the water. They retrieved it and they went ahead and rubbed it, a genie came out and said " thank you very much lady's". the genie said, just for that I will grant you all one wish and one wish only, so all three blondes were happy.
The first blonde said I want to be rich and have a big mansion with a big swimming pool," poof", she was gone having a good time.
The second blonde said, I want to be a millionaire and own a plane with a cute husband to take care of me and travel the world, ' poof", she was of with her husband having a good time.
Then the third blonde was so sad. And the genie asked, "what is wrong?", the blonde said, you know what I wish, "I wish my friends were back here with me", and "poof", there they are, back together again.

It is such a good thing that I am not that much of a blonde. but i really like those jokes. Ya'll should really check that website.

a little taste of the military pt 2
well on th 2nd day of the FTX we did STYX lanes and i was on OPFOR(the enemy). there were only three people on each OPFOR team but them the squads that were going through the lanes had almost 12 people. well when we got dropped off at lane 3 it was still so cold. since we still had two hours before the first squad came through we decided to build a fire and eat our MRE's (meal read to eat). after that we basically took a nap until the first squad was to come through. after a while we decided to start getting in place. one guy told me to throw him a box and i did but when it hit the ground, the box flew open, low and behold there was flipping mortars in it! and i had just throw it! we just decided to let it be for the moment. we had to get in position, we heard the squad coming. oh and did i mention we all had paint ball guns? but when they came, our 'leader' ran out screaming and so we started to shoot. well i got hit in the head like 5 min into the whole thing. but it was all really fun though. we stayed out in the woods playing with paint balls and taking naps it was awesome. that was the best day of the whole FTX! but there was one thing that really did disappoint me was one squad kept getting lost. we didn't get to shoot at that squad at all. and the worst part about that was that my brother was in that squad and i wanted to nail him with a paint ball. that would have made my day, just to see the look on his face after i shot him in the ass. o and one of the cadre members got shot in the ass whenever she was bending over, now that was funny. but that day, once again, was so much fun.
a little taste of the military
ok so i'm really far behind on these again. sorry! November the 7th i went to camp shelby for the week end. we had a FTX (field training exercise). It was rough, it really made me wonder why in the hell i joined the ROTC. however, everyone told me that my first FTX would be the worst one, each one would get a little better.
it started out with all 32 of us getting off the bus in the middle of no where. after a couple of breifings, they sent us out into the woods for 5 hours to find certain points that we were assigned. each point was just like a regular road signs but had orange things hanging from them called 'clackers'. when you found a point, the one you thought was right, you had to use the clackers to punch holes in your paper. each clackers had a different number or sequence of holes. so they could tell if you found the right point or not.
after 5 hours of doing that, i got the most awful blisters on my feet. i found 5 of my 8 points and sat down for the rest of the time. when everybody finally came back to the rally point we all went to eat at the chow hall which was really good. after we ate they sent us back into the woods again, for night land navigation. since i couldn't hardly walk that put me at a check point. the check point i was at was so far away from the other check points that my walkee talkee didn't work. so if i had an emergency i was screwed. o and by the way it was really really cold. CDT Roy built me a fire when him and his partner came through the check point.
at about 11 o'clock at night, they decided to come and get me and bring me back to the rally point so we could go to sleep. we all finally went to sleep around 12 a.m and being woke up by another cadet at 4:30 a.m. and he was screaming get your stinking ruck sacks on and lets go
