Trying to Remember Your Face

Trying to remember your face,
your smile i cannot replace.
When you smiled that goofy smile,
we thought you would be here for a while.
That night i prayed that you'd be alright,
that night i hope you had the time of your life.

Travis died Friday May 5, 2005. I still think about him when i drive by his cross on the side of the road, or when i see kids riding dirt bikes or four wheelers down the road. That night was one of the worst nights of my life. I cried so much. we didn't even have school that Monday. also we didn't have school on the day of his funeral. that was the last funeral i went to and i don't care to go to any other ones. i still think about him whenever i see something John Deere and Dixie shirts.
